MAF of Sibu East District went on a visitation to MAF of Doh Ang Methodist Church this evening.Located at Telok Assan, Doh Ang Methodist Church is set in scenic outskirts of Sibu. Very much country-like, Telok Assan is serene and refreshing. The moment you step in, you feel a refief to be away from the bustling town.
The gathering of the evening was a study on Zechariah covering chapters 3-5. Rev. Toh Hong Yong highlighted the importance of leading a winning life for all Christians.
All the fellowshippers seated in a circle and the session was open for sharing and discussion. It was a wonderful time that we gathered together in this manner in the name of our Lord.
In conclusion, Rev. Toh quoted Zechariah 4:6 to encourage the brothers and sisters on our service to God: "Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit."
The gathering ended with a tea reception. We were treated to home-made tapioca kueh, meat dumplings and refreshing Chinese tea.
Praise Lord for the very fruitful evening!
