Batabg Ai is predominantly a Dayak constituency. As such, the political orientation of the racial group would be a crucial factor in calling a winner.
In the previous state election,BN had a slim majority over the opponent. Judging from that, you may well conclude that the scale may be tipped in BN's favour.
But the last election was before the political tsunami on March 8 when Malaysians woke up to embrace a change. What's more, over a period of three years plus, the political aspirations of the Dayaks may have changed.
As such, I am more prepared to call it a 50:50 fight. The minority Chinese at Lubok Antu would, therefore, be the king makers!
