General Election 2008 - SUPP Versus DAP

The 12th Parliamentary Election is the first fight between the two Chinese-based parties after the pain-stricken defeat the ruling SUPP suffered in the previous state election in 2006.

In that furiously fought battle, SUPP dishearteningly lost several seats to DAP, making the infamous fiasco a painful lesson for the component party of the ruling front.

The issues that killed SUPP off included land lease renewal, spiralling oil price and the toll issue.

In just less than two years, SUPP has to face up to the tough challenge posed by DAP in the parliamentary election on the same issues, albeit with some abatement in land lease.

In this election, a close fight is inevitable between the two rivals.

Close fight?Well,I dont think it's for Sibu.Wong Ho Leng is a hypocrite. He always critizes Robert Lau but never does the same thing to Tiong Thai King. Why?Because he has business dealings with Tiong Thai King's companies. So people,do you want a hypocrite like Wong Ho Leng to be your MP?I surely dont cos he sucks.

Dato Robert Lau,
Can you really promise the Chineses security for all time to come ? You know our government is Islamic. One day the government will want all races to become Islamic and Melayu. For you, you have no problem. With the kind of wealth you have, you can escape with your family and your relatives to Australia and elsewhere. But the Chineses who cannot escape will be forced to become Malays and Islamic. So what sort of hope do people who are not Malays and not Muslims have in Malaysia ? Therefore thinking in long term, Barisan Nasional cannot promise stability. May be for now, Barisan Nasional can promise everyone heaven in Malaysia. But only temporary. If there is any bigger hypocrits, it will be people like you who think that other Malaysians do not know how to think. You talk bad about the Opposition. But you talk bad about your own kind. You are back stabbing your people. Why ? Just because you are a Parliamentarian ? But what did you do to Sibu ? People say there are so many gangsters. There are so many Mat Rempits too. What did you do ? Anyway nothing is certain in life. There is also no such a thing as Barisan Nasional forever in Malaysia.

There are more issues for SUPP to deal with in Sibu.

1. Sibu is a forever forgotten town, fallen behind Miri, Bintulu, and possibly Mukah and Bintangor soon. Where is the city status as promised? It never came true! SUPP is a mistress party, not even one of the four wives of BN.

2. Flood.... where is the plan to mitigate the flood? Yes, there was a plan, but never seen, never built, but in the talking. Raising the road surface only during election. The mentality seems the same since Tan Sri Patinggi's days, but the people are now more matured. You cannot fool the people as before.

3. Sibu to have a university? This is also a talk for decades and nothing come out. We felt more like SUPP Sibu is holding on to United College in order to safeguard the interest of their own crony.

4. It is difficult to fill the stomach of the people. The price of everything is high. There is no industries around. Perhaps BN has to employ all the people as government servants, else the dissatisfaction will continue to be there.

Many years back, the media were fully controlled by the BN for the BN. It is a different era. People learned about the outside world, and what is outside and beyond Sibu.

The bottom line is....we can rely more on Lau Hoi Chew than Wong Ho Leng.As a electrical engineer, there's no job for me in Sibu. The only thing that I have in Sibu is my old parents. If my parents are not there anymore,I won't be making the long trips back to Sibu.I mean hell no.I am very disappointed with the ruling government in Malaysia. There's no freedom of speech. You can't make fun of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi or other Malay jackasses, and certainly you can't make fun of SUPP or DAP leaders too.Sibu has no future.People are moving out of Sibu.Sibu people are turning away from God.May God have mercy on Sibu.Amen.

Lau Hoi Chew collaborating with Soon Koh in getting millions upon millions of ringgit from their political carreer. Both have unsatiable greed and personal agenda and gains.

Under the Vision Team of Sibu, gangsterism flourish openly and without any control by the police. When he was the Chairman of Sibu Muncipal Council, Robert Lau used public fund to engage Uncle Tsu to provide security services to guard Sibu Central Market. Next time when in Central Market, just talk to a hawker he or she can relate the story to you.

Uncle Tsu is the kingpin of gangsters in Sibu. This man is notorious for all ilegal activities such as prostution, illegal majong stores, illegal 4 D, extortion, protection money, money laundering, paying off policemen and police chiefs to turn blind eyes on all his unlawful activities. But for all the sinful deeds he did to other people, his son paid the price and was killed in a horrible road accident. Uncle Tsu still did not get the message and soon more of his children will die for him. Just wait and see.

Don’t know when will Robert Lau’s term to pay the price, if he continued to promote gangsterism in Sibu.

Bukit Aman investigated the case of Robert Lau last year on his involvement in gangsters. They found many evidence, among them a photo of him and Soon Koh at Lee Lung’s bithday party. Lee Lung is the gangster head and also a god son of Uncle Tsu. The photos are still with the police as evidence.

Lee Lung is a big bully in Sibu. Lee Lung a foochow in Sibu, controls one big gang. The gang is involved in diesel smuggling, collect protection money, collect commision on eggs sold. He use violence, he use hitman to commit many muders of his rivarlies in Sibu in 2001,2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006. Many muder cases in Sibu can’t be solved because Robert Lau is helping to cover them up.

Lee Lung is strongly supported by Robert Lau. In 2007, when the police arrested Lee Lung, Robert Lau called immediately to Police Head, Musa, to release Lee Lung. Robert Lau also made many press statements to claim that there are no gangsters in Sibu. He even said Sibu is very peaseful. Robert Lau even sent his good buddies Lau Cheng Kiong and Kiu Siong Hee to post bail for Lee Lung.
