Christmas Happenings In Sibu - Part 4 (Final)

Today is Christmas Day.

It's an occasion of great joy that we are able to celebrate the birth of our Lord Christ Jesus at liberty in this part of the world.

This morning , I went with my family to The Masland Methodist Church for Christmas service at 9:30am.

In her sermon, Pastor Yong shared with the congregation, "Jesus Christ did not come to this world by chance - His birth is prophesied in Genesis 3:15."

The religious freedom in Malaysia reminds me of countries where preaching of God's message is still very much restricted. Let's all dedicate our Christmas prayer to these parts of the world!

Bengbeng, there is a song. It goes; Christmas isn't Christmas till it happens in your heart, somewhere deep inside you is where Christmas really starts, so give your heart to Jesus and you discover when you do, that it's Christmas, really Christmas for you.

Mr. Hii, we are approaching the New Year's celebration in just a few days' time. How am I celebrating it ? By throwing out unwanted things. ha ! ha ! And start the new year new. Parties are more fitting for those young and energetic.

Tony, In that case parties are not for me :) I should buy a rocking chair, a long cheroot and wait for the setting sun, wait for my dentures to rot, my hair to fall, my muscles to atrophy and everything to stop functioning hhahahahahhah

But a one-time fund manager at the age of 65 told me a few years back, " Look, Tony, I can still swing away in a disco party with youngsters." What an inspiration!

Don't let age set limit on us.

With that, I wish Anonymous and Bengbeng all the best.
